Tell'em How You Feel Thursday: Essence Magazine

I didn't really have my usual list of weekly vents ready and was going to skip it today until I woke up and checked my e-mail. "Blog Crush II" sent me an e-mail that she received from Essence Magazine. They listed their top 25 Slow Jams of All-Time. Knowing that I love music the way I do, she thought I'd find it interesting. As soon as I saw the #1 song, I knew I wasn't going to agree with the list (not that i didn't like the #1 song, I just didn't think it was #1 worthy). Anyway, since I have nothing else to day, I'll present to you, my top 25 Slow Jams of All-Time

I'm surprised neither "Sexual Healing" nor "Let's Get It On" were on the Essence list. I'll be honest, i haven't heard of many songs on your list but I'm a bookworm so it didn't surprise me.

@ TNDRHRT: Love's Holiday is not bad at all. I was listening to it this morning.

Adore is most definitely in the top 5!

A few of of my favs are "This Must be Heaven" by Brainstorm, "You Were Meant for Me" by Donny Hathaway and "Love is Stronger than Pride" by Sade.
